Therapy Sessions & BOOkings

Therapy sessions are usually 60 minutes unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.

Payment is due when booking unless another arrangement has been agreed. Your appointment is not confirmed until payment and confirmation of the agreed date and time have been received.

Cancellations and rescheduling
We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please give at least 24 hours' notice.

Appointments cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice can be rearranged without charge or refunded.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or appointments that are missed without notice, are normally non-refundable. We may waive this where there are exceptional circumstances.

If we need to cancel your appointment, you will be offered another appointment or a full refund.

Late arrival
If you arrive late, the session will normally still finish at the original agreed time so that subsequent appointments are not affected.

30-minute consultations
Where a complimentary 30-minute consultation is offered, there is no obligation to purchase further sessions. Complimentary consultations have no cash value and are not transferable for payment or credit.

What therapy provides
Sessions provide individual therapeutic and practical support. They are not a substitute for emergency, crisis, medical, psychiatric, legal or other specialist professional services.

We do not guarantee a particular outcome from therapy. The work is collaborative and what is useful will vary between individuals.

Online sessions
Where sessions take place online, you are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection and a reasonably private space. If technology fails, we will try to reconnect or agree an appropriate alternative.

Refunds
Once a therapy session has taken place, the fee is not refundable simply because you later decide the session was not what you expected. This does not affect any rights you may have under UK consumer law where services have not been provided with reasonable care and skill.

Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Where a statutory right to cancel applies, it takes precedence over our standard appointment cancellation policy.
